Newsday Tuesday!

Greetings Greater Ohio,

We Have a Reason to Celebrate!

I wanted to share the Installation service at Fairfield Wesleyan Church. Jonathan and Cosetta Priest were installed as the new pastors, and it was a beautiful (and bilingual) service with a delicious meal afterward.

We had an 11-year-old girl—the daughter of the man who accepted Christ last week— accept Christ this morning as well!

Wow, what a service we had today. We first sang, then took communion, moved into a time of baptism, and then finished with a time of healing, and God showed up in some powerful ways. We had many guests today as well. We baptized two people, one being my son-in-law’s best friend who accepted Christ about 2 months ago. The healing service blew me away. I prayed for 3 people in a row in private, asking God to heal them of alcoholism. We then had open prayer, inviting the congregation to come and lay hands on them (I participated in that, asking God to rid me of cancer). We had about 7 people who prayed for healing and God showed up with lots of tears and power. I believe some folks were healed this morning. I then had a new lady with 4 kids come up after asking if her daughter could be baptized next time. We had a new couple that came for the first time and asked their friend, who is a member, if they can join our church and will be next Sunday. Another new couple that has come for a couple weeks now and have a lot of church hurt I was able to pray for healing over that hurt and f=after the service they told me they believe they have found their new church home. God is on the move at LifeSpring, and I want to live just to see what God is going to do. What a powerful day! Still in tears over the service. I know you were praying for us. Thanks! God heard our prayers and answered them.
