Greetings Greater Ohio,
Multiply Kingdom Communities
Here are some recent stories of this kind of ministry.
Pastor Jerry Steen from our Liberty Center Church. They have been working with Lifewise for the past few years and opening their church, and this past weekend, they helped them with their 5K run. They are making a difference in their community.
Pastors Allison and Zach Miller from our Starting Line Church, this past Sunday, baptized a man who previously knew nothing about Jesus. He shared his powerful faith story. Here are pics from that outdoor service.
This is what District Church Multiplication is all about! If you want to know how to plant a church or become a Kingdom multiplier, please contact me, Dr. Chris Dyer, at pcdyer58@gmail.com or 330-421-0078.
Pastor Ken Murphy from our Cypress Church recently shared with me their statistics and how God continues to bless them. 242 baptisms this past year and 917 in the last 5 years. They saw a 16% growth compared to last year. They saw a 6.89% increase in tithes and offerings.
I know there are more stories to be shared. We would love to share those stories to encourage one another. This has nothing to do with the size of the church. It has everything to do with touching lives for Jesus.
I am praying over and working on some ways we can help each other measure our next steps as we continue to reach people.
In his book Pray First, Pastor Chris Hodges shares,” We don’t truly realize how connected to the world we are and how much that connection corrupts us.” This is why praying is important.
I am praying for God to give to each of us:
Insight
Protection
Direction
Strength
And as we help people to:
Know God – there will be life-change
Find Freedom – in true repentance
Discover Purpose – because they are now forgiven
Make a Difference – because now they are free.
I was reminded of this recently what we pay attention to changes us. So I pray Romans 12:1-2 [NLT] over us.
I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind He will find acceptable. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
God designed us with the ability to change, grow, and become more like Jesus.
God bless Greater Ohio. I am praying for you and with you.
Pastor Les
