Good morning,
Wesleyan family! As I think about all that has transpired in the last few days, these words from
Lamentations 3:21-23 (NLT) are playing over in my mind:
Yet, I still dare to hope
    When I remember this:
The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
    His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
    his mercies begin afresh each morning.

 I am grateful for our Lord’s faithful love and mercies that I see so evident in the lives of Wesleyans who are seeking to serve and mobilize the people in your congregations to be God’s loving faithfulness and mercy activated in Helene’s aftermath. The Wesleyan Church’s Communication and Administration’s (C&A’s) team is currently working, reaching out to our districts affected by Helene. Information is still being shared and many are still in the discovery and gathering phase of this catastrophic event. At this time, C&A is setting up an information page at wesleyan.org/helene. This page will be a central communication’s hub for disseminating information for the Helene-effected districts to the broader church. It will contain contact information, links to the district websites and giving opportunities.
 The pagewill be updated with current information as provided through each district’s contact person.

Thank you for caring and sharing of yourselves, talents and resources to minister to others in this time of great need. May your kingdom service and consistent, active witness for our Lord bear much fruit. Prayerfully,
Wayne
