Welcome to Ohio! We are proud to serve the pastors and local churches in the Greater Ohio District of the Wesleyan Church. To help us accomplish our mission of having a transforming presence in every zip code of Ohio, our focus is to equip and empower our churches and their leaders to best live out the Great Commission of reaching the world for Christ by modeling the Great Commandment of loving God and loving others with all that we have.
SET APART! Gathering
What if … the Holy Spirit gave us a Pentecost-type moment in our day?
That’s our prayer and expectation for Set Apart! on May 18th. Join us for a District-wide rally centered on Pentecost and oneness in the Church. Often, Christians tend to focus only on the personal impact of the Holy Spirit’s empowerment – rather than also celebrating the corporate impact of the Spirit on our unity and mission-effectiveness. Set Apart! Is a time to focus ourselves on Jesus and what it means for us to make Him everything in our lives, our churches, and our ministries, and to be Spirit-empowered as one in Christ.
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Place: Iglesia Christiana Vida Nueva (2345 Demorest Road Grove City, OH 43123).
Rev. Kim Gladden will be our guest speaker. You will make connections over lunch and enjoy engaging conversations around the tables. Lunch will be provided. A special time of communion and prayer will send us out empowered by the Holy Spirit to advance God’s Kingdom as One in Jesus!
